The ISSCR welcomes abstract submissions from scientists, clinicians, and researchers in all sectors, including academia, industry, government, and education. We do not accept advertisements of commercial products or services or clinical case studies.

Oral and Poster Abstract Submission opens Wednesday, 15 October 2025 and closes on Wednesday, 25 February 2026.
Late-breaking Abstract Submission opens on Wednesday, 11 March 2026 and closes on Wednesday, 22 April 2026. Poster abstract submissions only. Late-breaking abstracts are not eligible for Travel or Merit awards.

Oral and Poster Abstracts: $75 USD for each submission
Late-breaking Abstracts: $110 USD for each submission

abstract submission types

Submit between 15 October 2025 through 25 February 2026 to be considered for an eight (8) minute oral presentation in a concurrent track session.
Abstract-selected speakers must attend ISSCR 2026 in-person.
Oral submissions not accepted for an oral presentation are considered for a poster presentation.
Oral abstract submissions from ISSCR student and postdoctoral members with active membership through the end of 2026 are eligible for Travel and Merit Awards.

To be eligible for Travel and Merit Awards, ISSCR student and postdoctoral members must have active membership through the end of 2026 and submit a poster abstract by 25 February 2026.

Poster presenters must attend ISSCR 2026 in-person.
Late-breaking abstract submissions are not eligible for Travel & Merit Awards.

All abstract submissions are reviewed by the ISSCR 2026 Annual Meeting Program Committee. Abstracts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected.
NOTE: While abstracts are reviewed for inclusion in the program, they do not undergo a formal peer-review process. Presented abstracts are included in the Program and/or Abstract Books and are citable.
Submitted abstracts must adhere to the following:
Adhere to the principles in the ISSCR Guidelines for Stem Cell Research and Clinical Translation.
Include substantive results, whether experimental, calculated, or theoretical.
Include experimentally derived quantitative data if the abstract topic is a commercial product.
Ensure results are the work of the listed author(s).
Adhere to Abstract Submission Agreement.
NOTE: Clinical case studies will not be considered.

By submitting an abstract to be considered for the ISSCR Annual Meeting, the submitter agrees to:
Agree to the Abstract Submission Agreement.
Adhere to deadlines for submission and acceptance.
Ensure the presenter understands that in-person registration is required by 13 May 2026 and that deadlines must be adhered to.
Pay abstract submission fee (separate from registration fee).

Submitters will be asked to select the topic and concurrent track session that aligns best with their abstract content.

Abstract submission may take up to 20 minutes when materials are pre-formatted.
Edits are permitted until the submission deadline of 25 February 2026.
Abstract reviewers agree to protect the confidentiality of the unpublished information described in the abstracts.
Abstracts will become available to meeting registrants via the abstract book PDF approximately one (1) week before the meeting.
Abstracts remain under the embargo policy until the start time of the session.
The ISSCR 2026 Abstract Book will be made available to the public on the Archives page after the event and on-demand content period has concluded.
